Great list. While I have been using a few of the plugins like Broken Link Checker and the FD Feeburner plugin, there were may I didn't know about. Good post with timely information. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the informative post. It really is great that WordPress supports plugins. The biggest problem is – which ones do you really NEED? With the information you have provided, bloggers can select from some of the best of the free plugins out there.

The TAC plugin sounds like something I will use a lot. Thanks again.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
