It is surprisingly easy to start publishing its first auction on eBay. That’s what we do.
Step 1 Open an eBay seller account.
If you’ve bought things on eBay, you already have an account – login with it and click on ‘sell’ on the toolbar at the top of the page, click on “Create a seller account. If you’ve never used eBay before, then you must open an account first using the “Register” link below the toolbar and then click sell “and” Create a seller account. The eBay site will guide you through the process. For security reasons, this May involve giving card details and bank information.
Step 2: Decide what to sell.
For your first little experiment with eBay, which is not really what you sell. Look around the room where you are – I’m sure there is something that is not attached at all and could put in place. Books and CDs are ideal first object.
Step 3: Send your item.
Sell Click “OK” and you’re on your way to put it on sale.
The first thing you must do is choose a category – let them write what the item is and let eBay choose for you. Next, enter a title and description. Include keywords that I think people will find the title box, and all information you have about the item in the description field.
Now set a starting price. $ 0.01 is the best starting price, because it attracts people to bid who otherwise would not, and the items ends rarely at a price so low. The following is to establish the duration of the auction: 3, 5, 7 or 10 days. That depends on you: more sales will usually get more bids, but also seem to drag on. If you take a photo, add now – items with pictures always sell more. Finally, tick the payment methods you accept (just PayPal is best for the moment), which will be published (limited to their own country, for starters). Send and go!
Step 4: Wait for a sale.
It’s just a matter of sit back and let eBay do its thing – buyers find your item and leave bids on it. Some bidders might email with questions on the subject, and you should do your best to answer these questions as quickly as possible.
Remember that if your item does not sell, then you can register it again for free.
Step 5: Collect payment and post it.
eBay sends e-mails to guide the buyer through the process of sending payment for the item. Make sure you have the money before sending anything.
Once payment has everything you need to do is pack the item for posting (make sure to use bubble wrap), take the buyer’s address in the email confirmation that “eBay sent you, and write in the plot. Put some stamps on, post, and you’re done!
I hope you enjoyed your first point of sale. Now that starts to rise, e-mail address will give you a list of things to do to be a good seller.
