3 Great Foods to Boost Your Health

Everyday we have to make choices about which food’s we should eats and should enjoy, and often time we make poor decisions because of leisure decisions or we are far to busy with our day to day lives.

The benefits of healthy food often work in a preventative manner- by eating it before you need it, you end up never needing what they provide- which makes for a poor way to convenience you to it them- especially the foods that taste absolutely awful. The needs for preventive care has been chiming through the the medical news communities. I have three foods to recommend directly to help protect and boost your health right away!

Kiwi Fruit

Kiwi fruit is one of the highest sources of vitamin C ( a natural anti-oxidant). Kiwi fruit’s skin contains high amounts of fiber and potassium. It actually contains almost as much as a banana! Almost all of the most valuable vitamins are toward the skin as opposed to the sweet center.

When eating kiwi’s, always eat the skin! It also contains vitamin E, and a small amount of vitamin A. Its basically a health pill! Usually a medium size kiwifruit contains about 46 calories which for the amount is very well, making for a very healthy fruit.

Blue Berries

Did you know a serving of blueberries has 25 percent of our daily requirement for vitamin C? aid in the body’s absorption of iron. Iron helps to nourish red blood cells and deliver oxygen throughout the body. A USDA study reveals blueberries are one of the greatest antioxidant activity per serving.

Why are antioxidants important? They neutralize free radicals that are linked to several diseases including cardiovascular disease, certain cancer, and even Alzheimer’s. Blue Berry’s are often the top of the list concerning smart foods, this is because they are known for helping to stimulate there brains!

Avocado

Avocados consist of almost only good news for use and our bodies. Avocados are considered to be among the world’s healthiest fruit – with vitamin K, fiber, potassium, folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin C on there long list of healthy vitamins and minerals. The Saturated fat, trans fat and dietary cholesterol – the bad stuff we find in animal products like meat, poultry, seafood, eggs, dairy products, are very different then the fats you’ll find for an avocado.

    Avocadoes save me from eating junk during the day. I need the good fat to “stick” to stop the food cravings.

    Everyone likes those two more! Blueberries are always less liked, but they are by far actually the best for us. I guess you could argue if you just ate the kiwi fruit skin and the meat right at the skin, then maybe, but when put pound for pound, blueberries are superior.
